Centenary Thurles was founded in 1898. It is a farmer owned Co-operative Society and a member of I.C.O.S. Throughout its proud history Centenary Thurles has developed and changed with the various trends in agriculture and rural Ireland.

Today, all its business divisions have been brought to ultra modern standards ensuring that Centenary Thurles is to the forefront in all its activities.

In an industry where rationalization has been the order of the day, the foresight of the various Boards of Directors and Management in being pro-active about development and service has ensured that the Society reached the milestone of being 100 years old in 1998.
