It’s a business born out of one man’s love of American cars and one which has adapted and expanded to the changing needs of the marketplace, to encompass the sales of Hobbyweld rent free bottled gas for home welding and for the wider engineering trade. As Hobbyweld have blossomed, so we too have taken on board their wider range to include Helium for balloons and the latest HobbyBrew range, an exciting new range of beer delivery gasses including CO2, and Nitrogen/CO2 mixes. We’ve also discovered they are used in the ice cream and iced soft drinks environment.

To us, it’s the simplicity of the Hobbyweld/Hobbybrew model that works so well. No awkward business account setup, no admin fees, no rental and no surprises. Just a one off bottle deposit, which is always refundable less a small return charge and the gas of your choice. You can pay cash, credit card, BACS or Paypal, and pay with your phone, watch or any other electronic device that works!

Well established in the Southport area, we have now expanded to cover the Wirral, Ellesmere Port and Chester areas from our base in Whitby, Ellesmere Port. If you are working away from base, and come to our areas, we can replace your empties just the same as your local dealer.

We also offer extended opening times for our customers, and although we are happy to serve you, we ask that you always phone first as we don’t always man our storage facilities full time.
