Hobbyweld Health & Safety Policy Statement
Hobbyweld understands and accepts its responsibility under the Health and Safety at Work Act to ensure so far as reasonably practicable, the health, safety and welfare of its employees, customers and others with whom we come into contact.
We assess and eliminate, wherever possible, the risks associated with work that we do. Hobbyweld management has specific responsibilities for developing and implementing safe systems at work, for communicating health and safety matters to all who report to them and for taking the action on concerns and suggestions.
Each of us has a statutory duty to act responsibly in regard to our own health and safety and in relation to others with whom we come into contact. Hobbyweld expects all employees, contractors and agents to co-operate with us by following our safe systems of work and identifying any hazards they see in the course of their work. We will provide appropriate training for all employees so that they may work safely.
We have ensured that Health and Safety matters are given the highest priority in the operation of Hobbyweld business and we will review Health and Safety performances on a regular basis.
We will put in place a safety committee structure for employees to raise, discuss and improve any issues regarding Health and Safety.
